INDEPENDENT WRITTEN DECISION ANALYSIS

You can know the facts, understand the options and still not know what to do.

You may already have made the pros-and-cons list, asked several people what they think, put the decision off, then found yourself thinking about it again a few days later with the same arguments. As if one more piece of information might finally make the answer obvious.

But the difficulty is not always a lack of information. Sometimes none of the options is clearly wrong or completely satisfying: each gives you something, asks you to give something up, or leaves some uncertainty behind.

These are the kinds of decisions Erysan analyzes. The work is to lay out what is established, what still needs checking and which constraints genuinely matter, then examine what each option would mean. The goal is not to choose for you, but to make clearer what you gain, what you give up and what could still change the decision.

Architectural lines and layered paths converging toward a clear structure.

SEE THE WORK

What an Erysan analysis looks like

An Erysan analysis starts by laying the decision out clearly: what is established, what remains uncertain, which constraints matter and what each option would involve. It then brings the central trade-off into view and identifies the direction that makes the most sense based on the information available. The example below is fictional and contains no client data.

01

THE DECISION TO EXAMINEWhat is the real question to resolve, and which options actually need to be compared?

02

THE CENTRAL TRADE-OFFWhat does each option allow you to preserve, and what would it require you to accept or give up?

03

THE DIRECTION THAT MAKES THE MOST SENSEWhich option appears most coherent at this stage, and what new information or conditions could still change that conclusion?

Situations Erysan can help examine

Some decisions become harder because several reasonable considerations are pulling you in different directions. You may know what no longer works without knowing what should come next, or see real advantages in more than one option without being able to tell which deserves more weight.

Explore the Decision Guides

01

Professional transition

You are weighing whether to stay, leave, change roles or move in a different direction because each choice improves part of the situation while making another part harder.

02

Work-related misalignment

Your work situation may still look fine on paper, but it no longer fits your expectations, priorities or the way you want to work.

03

Entrepreneurial decision

You need to decide whether to continue, invest further, change direction or test an idea differently while important uncertainties remain.

04

Family responsibilities

A decision that affects you also involves your partner, children, relatives or responsibilities you cannot simply set aside.

05

Migration or cultural transition

Staying, leaving, returning home or building your future somewhere else becomes harder when work, family, belonging and the life you have already built are pulling you in different directions.

06

Personal reassessment

What used to feel right no longer feels as certain, but you do not yet know whether something really needs to change or how far that change should go.

WHY WRITTEN

When the same arguments keep coming back, putting them down in writing helps you see them differently.

A difficult decision often mixes several things together: what you know, what you expect, what you need to protect and what you are willing to accept. When it all stays in your head, the last argument you considered can easily start to outweigh the rest. Writing helps separate those elements, compare them on the same basis and return to the reasoning when circumstances change.

A CLEARER VIEW OF THE SITUATION

The elements that genuinely matter are organized so you can see what is driving the decision and what still needs to be checked.

MORE DISTANCE

Each option can be examined by the same standards, including the one you may already be leaning toward.

SOMETHING YOU CAN RETURN TO

You can revisit the analysis at your own pace, see how the conclusion was reached and later identify what has changed.

PROCESS

How Erysan works

01 · START WITH THE FIT CHECK

Tell us about the decision and what is making it difficult right now. We review your request to determine whether Erysan can help and, if so, whether Focus or Diagnostic is the better fit.

02 · KNOW WHAT WILL BE DONE BEFORE YOU PAY

If we can take on your request, you receive a written proposal explaining what will be analyzed, the service proposed, the price and the expected delivery date. Once you accept and pay, a private questionnaire gathers the information needed for the analysis.

03 · RECEIVE YOUR ANALYSIS

Once we have the information we need, we confirm that the analysis has started. It is then delivered confidentially by email. After delivery, you can send the follow-up question or questions included with your service.

ABOUT

Vancouver, Canada

Guillem Blasco, founder of Erysan

I founded Erysan in Vancouver after a career spanning guidance and support roles, public services and positions of responsibility. Those experiences taught me to take the time to understand a situation, its constraints and the different perspectives involved before looking for an answer. That way of working is what led me to create Erysan.

BOUNDARIES

A clear framework

Erysan examines your decision, the options in front of you and the factors that could change the balance. When part of the situation depends on legal, financial, medical, psychological or immigration matters, that point should be checked with the appropriate professional. The analysis gives you a clear framework and a reasoned direction. The final decision remains yours.

YOUR DECISION ANALYSIS — The options, constraints and consequences that matter in your situation.

REGULATED EXPERTISE — Questions that require it should be verified with the appropriate professional or official source.

YOUR DECISION — You remain free to follow, adapt or set aside the direction proposed.

FIT CHECK

Still going over the same decision? Start by telling us about the situation.

The Fit Check lets you explain the decision as it stands today. We then review your request and tell you how Erysan can help.
